The particular Router in this video is the WRT54GS by Linksys…It is actually discontinued… The best way to go is with something like a Linksys Wireless N Router like the E1000… Much more secure, much better wireless speed transfer, and so on..They go for about $59.00

Do you have to have a computer connected to router by wire for the wireless to work through out the house? I just want the router to work WIRELESSLY without having any computers directly connected to it with an ethernet cord…
Do you notice that you never told anyone where the white wire is coming from, ie. the modem. I’m assuming that’s where its coming from.
